The Animals aRe First Fund (ARFF) has partnered with San Bernardino County Animal Care and MetLife Pet Insurance to give new pet parents added peace of mind. To help ease the transition to pet parenthood, MetLife Pet Insurance offers 30 days of coverage at no cost.

The policy includes:

  • Up to $500 of coverage for accidents and illnesses
  • 100% reimbursement after a $50 deductible (for covered care)
  • Access to any licensed veterinarian, emergency clinic or specialist in the U.S.

Coverage highlights:

  • Accidents – broken bones, swallowed objects, poisoning and more
  • Illnesses – allergies, diabetes, infections, chronic conditions and more
  • Tests and treatments – X-rays, surgeries, prescriptions, holistic care and more

Through this partnership with ARFF, the program is available not only to new adopters, but also to those who have previously adopted from San Bernardino County Animal Care. Whether your pet came from the Devore Animal Shelter or the Big Bear Animal Shelter, you qualify for this added protection from MetLife Pet Insurance.

A little extra protection means a happier, healthier start for your new family member. Learn more and enroll by calling 833-558-1186.
